Principal's Welcome
A school does more than teach subjects. It shapes how children think, speak, work, and treat the people around them. At Elpis, we take that responsibility seriously.
Our students follow a rigorous American curriculum and we expect them to work hard and keep improving. But academic ability alone is not enough. We are equally committed to honesty, discipline, respect, and responsibility. Character determines what students do with what they learn.
Every school day begins with a time of reflection. Once a week, the whole school gathers together. These rhythms give students the habit of pausing and thinking carefully about how they are living, not only what they are studying.
If you are considering Elpis for your child, I warmly invite you to visit and see the school for yourself.

Our Commitment
Elpis International School was established to give families in Myanmar access to an excellent, affordable education grounded in integrity. We provide a rigorous American curriculum from kindergarten through Grade 12, and we give equal attention to the formation of character: honesty, discipline, service, and personal responsibility. Our aim is to develop the next generation of servant leaders, young people who are capable in their work, grounded in their values, and ready to contribute to the families and communities they belong to.
Looking Ahead
Elpis International School exists to become a highly competitive private school in Myanmar, one that families trust for the quality of its education and the character of its graduates. We are building a school where academic excellence and strong moral formation go together, not as competing priorities, but as two parts of the same commitment.

Our Values
The Five Pillars of Elpis
At Elpis, our values are rooted in the meaning of Elpis, the Greek word for hope. These values guide our actions and shape the character of our students.
E – Excellence
L – Leadership
P – Purpose
I – Integrity
S – Service

Guiding Principles
Our Motto
These values guide the culture of our classrooms, the habits we encourage, and the way students learn to carry responsibility as they grow.
