Where Learning Begins
Gently, joyfully, well.
The earliest years shape everything. Our Kindergarten classroom is built on small classes, strong foundations, and the freedom to be a child. Reading, writing, and counting are taught with patience and care, never at the expense of wonder.
Program Overview
The Kindergarten program is built from four subjects, woven together throughout the day so that learning feels seamless rather than divided into rigid blocks. Every Kindergarten student studies all of the following.
📖 Focus on Five — The integrated language arts, reading, science, social studies, and arts program at the heart of the Kindergarten year. This is where children learn to read, listen, observe, ask questions, and make sense of the world.
🔢 Mathematics — Counting, number recognition, simple addition and subtraction, shapes, patterns, time, and money — taught through stories, manipulatives, and games.
🌱 Worldview & Character Studies — Through stories, songs, and class discussion, children learn about kindness, honesty, courage, and care for others — the character foundations of a thoughtful life.
✏️ Handwriting — Correct posture, pencil hold, and letter formation — small habits taught now that save children years of frustration later.
Alongside these four core areas, our Kindergarten students also enjoy art, music, movement, and a gentle introduction to Myanmar language and culture — all woven into the rhythm of the week.
